I have posted before about Che Guevara fashion trends. Now comes news of how such t-shirts can be used in a productive fashion. The Colombian Special Forces troops that rescued the hostages held by the FARC terrorists wore such shirts. They pretended to be from a non-governmental organization who was assisting the FARC in transferring the hostages. The terrorists fell for this hook, line, and sinker. What is interesting is that this casts a light on the political agenda of many self-styled “humanitarian” groups. The left-wing FARC people were easily fooled that such a group was “on their side” and actually helping them. Moreover, the members of such groups are often privileged offspring of upper and upper-middle class families. Nothing says clueless bourgeois tools of leftism as much as wearing Che t-shirts. No wonder the FARC were fooled.
